Enjoy a relaxing getaway, in the fully furnished, 2 bedrooms, one bath, 1100 sqft cottage. Begin your day with a cup of coffee on the lovely enclosed sun porch or on the private back patio. Stretch your legs with a six block walk to the center of town. Browse the quaint boutiques and shops, have lunch at one of the many cafes, bars and restaurants. Watch the neighbors stroll by on a bench in Donnelly Park, view the sunset over the lake at the Mt. Dora Lighthouse, or catch a play at the Ice House Theatre.
Hungry? Prepare a gourmet meal in the fully equipped kitchen, and serve it in the vintage style dining room. Then as the night winds down, cozy up to a good book in an overstuffed chair in the living room. For the person that needs to be ‘connected’ the cottage is fully wired with cable and Wi-Fi.

Summary: Check in was very easy and communication was excellent. Everything was in working order and all the essentials were provided. A short walk to downtown made this a great place to stay. Would recommend for any family!

Summary: While visiting family, a friend and I stayed at this property for five nights. Be aware that it’s on the corner of a fairly busy intersection. It’s a cute place with some fun decor. The beds were comfortable and all bedding was crisp and clean, and there was an ample supply of nice bath towels and wash cloths. The home was clean enough but it seems to have been some time since it had a really thorough cleaning.The kitchen was rather sparsely stocked, the lazy Susan cupboard was broken, and the supplied frying pans should have been replaced some ago. When I contacted the owner regarding a couple of issues, she was responsive and came over quickly to check things out.

Summary: The home is so cute and clean and they provide all the necessities for a short stay. The home was completely renovated and has a welcoming and comfortable feel. If you want to be close to everything in Mount Dora, this is a great location. If you're a light sleeper, bring earplugs because there are loud delivery trucks traveling early into Mount Dora and the walls are thin.

Summary: We had a fabulous stay. Everything was very clean and it was a great location. The only drawback was some road noise but other than that I totally recommend this cottage.

Summary: This home was truly lovely. It is an older home, but beautifully decorated and comfortable. There is an out door area with table if you like to sit outdoors. Kitchen was well equipped. Lovely bathroom. It was close to downtown MT Dora. We walked to restaurants and shopping. We are in our 70s. Easy walk. Would definitely stay here again.

Summary: The house was very clean and well stocked. Beds were comfy and linens nice. Furnishings were a beautiful blend of country chic and antiques. The owner took great care in decorating. Location about 6 short blocks to the center of Mount Dora by sidewalks. Only con (which doesn’t reflect on the house itself) is the intersection can be noisy. A noise machine enabled a good nights sleep.
